The Mirror World Kadoatery
So, you want to know more about the Mirror World
Kadoatery, eh? Well, here is a brief introduction to the rules and basic
guidelines.
- The Kadoatery will restock randomly for the
rest of the week at least once per day. Sometimes all of the Kadoaties will
refresh, sometimes only one or a few at a time.
- Every fed Kadoatie is worth 1 Kad Point. A
Niptor may also appear during a restock, and if you manage to feed it before
anyone else, you will receive 3 Kad Points. Niptors are more difficult to feed
that Kadoaties because the items they desire are harder to find.
- If your name appears on the main Kadoatery
page, you cannot feed another Kadoatie or Niptor until the one you fed before
refreshes.
- To feed a petpet, you need to need to locate
the food item it desires in Mirror World only. If you would like to ask
a Mirror World shopkeeper for an item, convert the item's name into a single
word and use it as a passcode in the address. For instance:
If you are looking for Sour Green Jelly, then you would convert that to
sourgreenjelly and then change a shop address from Hive/shop_.htm
to Hive/shop_sourgreenjelly.htm. If that shop has that item, then you
will receive it (along with a hidden code). Bring that code back to the
Kadoatery for additional instructions.
- You have to be the very first person to feed
a Kadoatie/Niptor in order to receive credit, so you may want to submit
several codes at once, just in case. Keep in mind, though, that while you're
obtaining those other codes, somebody else may be submitting the very same
ones, so work quickly.
- At the end of the week, the 25 participants
with the most Kad Points will earn a Defenders Medal and at least one point
toward becoming a full-fledged Defender of Mirror World. After that,
participants will be allowed to continue earning Kad Points, although the
Mirror World Kadoatery will not restock nearly as often from that point on.
