Return of Dr. Sloth

Here is what we currently know about Kreludor itself...

The Kreludan Mining Corp. is owned and operated by Dr. Frank Sloth, the creator of Virtupets and Neopet V2, and the man responsible for the first major Neopian threat and the Lost Desert Invasion. Kreludan metal, which is mined on Kreludor, is used to manufacture evil robots such as Evil Sloth Clones and Mechanoid Warriors.

Sloth is also responsible for the various Kreludan Defender Robot models, the most popular being the S750 (below) and S950 (which resembled a robot mutant grundo). Aside from Virtupets Inc. and Kreludan Mining Corp., Dr. Sloth owns Krelufun Industries. This company is responsible for all of those cute Neopet miniatures which are made from liquid Kreludite, a very unstable substance which is prone to mutation for some very odd reason...

Aside from the Kreludan Mining operation, there is also a strange "Neocola" Machine on Kreludor. This is actually a "Doom Dispenser 3000." The items dispensed from this machine vary from worthless souvenirs to explosive cans of Neocola.

Kreludor is also the home of Orange Grundos, a breed never before seen. Rumor has it that the other side of Kreludor is populated by Purple Grundos, a breed that is known for its skirmishes with the Orange Grundos.

Soon, there will be a major plot taking place on Kreludor involving Dr. Sloth and the Orange/Purple Grundos. Keep checking out our "Return of Dr. Sloth" help page for the latest information on this plot.

The following is the suggestion sent to Neopets in December by prince_raptor, and then again in January by visitors to the Neopets Hive. It has been edited to reflect all recent Virtupets Space Station changes and games, however it is unclear whether or not the two worlds will have anything in common, or if the suggestions sent in to Neopets had anything to do with the actual creation of this world. Regardless, though, here is what was originally sent in!

Uh, Virtupets? We have a problem...
By prince_raptor, (from 01/03/03)

VIRTUPETS SPACE STATION- Is it possible that the futuristic world of Virtupets has finally become out-dated? Is the technology of tomorrow now yesterday's news? In my opinion, the time has finally come to destroy Virtupets and send it crashing on the Neopian Moon!

Virtupets is composed of a food store, an armor store, a weapons store, a few games, a warehouse, a Petpet store, a Battledome Arena, and a place to adopt Grundos. However, this world seems to be so lame when compared to some of the other worlds because it has no daily offers, no prizes, and no quests. Maybe what Virtupets needs is a complete makeover...

Recently I've tried to send messages to Neopets in an attempt to persuade them to make Virtupets a little bit better. Here are my suggestions, and I am urging you to consider these alterations to the current world.

...Sloth has reappeared and is attempting to take control of Virtupets once again... but what's this? The Space Faerie has appeared and is ready to stop him. With the help of Neopians everywhere, she overpowers all of Sloths followers and destroys Virtupets once and for all. But what's this? It has crashed into something... it appears to be the moon of Neopia!
